Anupa Joshy is a Glasgow-based Communication Designer with an MDes from the Glasgow School of Art, working across brand identity, editorial, data visualisation and illustration. Her practice is rooted in culture, community and the spaces where identities intersect — built through work with cultural institutions, humanitarian organisations and publicly funded initiatives across Scotland.
She believes design is most powerful when it holds space for underrepresented voices. Alongside client work, she founded Colour Theory, a platform celebrating BPOC creatives in Scotland, and was recently nominated for Young Designer of the Year at the Scottish Design Awards 2025.
Her identity for Refugee Festival Scotland was featured on a special edition front page of The National, produced in collaboration with the paper to mark the festival.
She is available for freelance projects and selected collaborations.
