Stamped or Stumped

Brand Identity Design
STAMPED OR STUMPED is a satirical gameshow concept that humorously highlights the frustrations of the visa application process for POCs. Inspired by British gameshows like Wheel of Fortune, the project gamifies the absurdities of immigration bureaucracy, where even extensive documentation doesn’t guarantee approval. The show includes three rounds: The Wheel of Bias, Visa or Nah?, and Tick Tock Visa Clock, each reflecting real-world visa struggles. With bold, modern branding, the project uses humor and satire to spark conversation about systemic bias, aiming to shift perceptions and engage audiences in a relatable, thought-provoking way.

Objective
Strategy
Project conceptualisation for the Life Brief as a part of Scotland's Biggest Design Festival - International Assembly 2024. The aim was to take a problem in our lives and reframe it through humour. Contestants were asked to highlight the issue to spark a reaction and change how others perceive it. The project was to be developed within 12 hours.
For the Life Brief at International Assembly 2024, I developed a satirical gameshow concept—STAMPED OR STUMPED—to reframe the visa struggles faced by POCs through humor. The project used bold branding, gamification, and witty storytelling to highlight systemic bias, sparking conversation and shifting perceptions. By blending pop culture references with personal experiences, the strategy aimed to create an engaging and relatable narrative that encourages dialogue on immigration challenges.
